These programs are designed for Youth to come out to the Club and take part in a wide variety of activities that are planned around Recreation, sports and Leisure, Creative Arts, Personal Growth and Life Skills. Opportunities to develop friendships, and connect with positive role models, allows children to find a place where they belong, are cared about and where they can learn new skills.

Penticton (13-19yrs)

Youth programs and services are targeted to youth who are between the ages of 13-19 years. Recreation Programs support leadership and character development, self-esteem and a sense of belonging through peer interaction and positive adult relationships. Youth Outreach Services are designed to deliver support services to youth who are experiencing personal, family or social difficulties and require people, resources and services to assist them in getting the help they need.

Peachland (13-19yrs)

Drop In programs at the Peachland Club are designed for youth ages 13-19 to come to the centre and hang out with friends in a relaxed environment. Recreation Programs support leadership and character development, self-esteem and a sense of belonging through peer interaction and positive adult relationships. Each week we’ll plan something different from fun out trips and theme nights to cooking and crafts.

West Kelowna (12-19yrs)

Westside Youth Centre - Drop In Program

The Westside Youth Centre is a purpose driven drop-in program for youth that works to provide a safe, supportive environment, and provides basic needs, recreational activities and opportunities, as well as life-skills training and appropriate referrals to other youth services. The drop-in program is designed for youth ages 12-19 to come to the Centre and visit with friends, take part in activities such as pool, board games, crafts, Nintendo Wii, Netflix, listen to music, wifi access and fun filled out-trips. While accessing the drop-in program youth can have access to free food. Drop-in is also free and accessible to all interested youth in the community regardless of background.

Downtown Youth Centre Drop-In

The Downtown Youth Centre is a purpose driven drop-in program for homeless youth and those at risk of homelessness, aged 12 -19 years. The program works to provide a safe, supportive environment, basic needs, recreational activities and opportunities, as well as life-skills training. Youth in need can access showers, laundry services, food and drink, internet, and resource information.

Hours: 2:00pm - 9:00pm, Monday - Friday. All services at Club 180 are free of charge.

Raising the Grade

Join our educational program which gives you the chance to learn life skills, career planning, resume building, and get some homework help. You will be required to meet with your raising the grade mentor at least 4 times a month to meet the qualifications and to get an incentive at the end of your raising the grade experience.

Lake Country

Raising the Grade

Join Raising the Grade, an educational program which gives you the chance to learn life skills, career planning, resume building, and get some homework help. We will meet at George Elliott @ 3:30 and transport you to and from the Rogers Tech Lab located in Rutland.

Torch Club (Ages 10-13)

Torch Club is Boys and Girls Clubs of Canada’s national leadership development program for youth aged 10 to 13. Torch Club offers an excellent vehicle for engaging pre-teens in a focused, small group experience that will not only help them develop their leadership skills but will also empower them to use their talent and ability to make positive change in their Club, their community and their own lives. All Torch Club members will get a Leadership T-shirt and be invited to participate in a special overnight Youth Leadership retreat at Camp ArrowFlight in June with other Club youth leaders from across the Okanagan.

Dates: Every second Tuesday

Youth Council Meetings (Ages 10 - 13)

This is your chance for your ideas to be heard. Along with the staff, help plan the activities and outings for the months ahead

Art Club with Randis (Ages 8-13)

Have fun creating your own works of art using some new materials as well as the ones you already know!
Dates: Thursdays (will resume in September)
Time: 6-8pm

Teen Junction Downtown Youth Centre

We provide youth (13 to 18 years) with a safe, non-judgmental environment where they can connect with friends and staff. Our goal is to help youth reach their full potential. Caring and involved staff respect youth and listen without judgment. We offer the programs and services Monday to Friday: 3:30 to 7:30 pm:

Teen Junction Youth Centre exists thanks to Greg Schroeder's tenacity and commitment to help all youth reach their potential. On May 14th, 2012 the Junction building was dedicated in memory of Greg to honour his shining example of the POWER OF ONE.
